DESCRIPTION:Celebrating its 25th year\, the Cherry Creek Arts Festival is a celebration of art and imagination that presents 260 juried artist vendors\, plus an abundance of live music\, artist demos\, food\, and even a whole block dedicated to art-making opportunities for children. One of our favorite times to stroll through the festival is during the Art-NOW! preview night on Thursday\, July 2nd\, from 7p to 10p. During this special event that is free and open to the public\, guests can preview the works of 28 featured artists on the block of Clayton between 2nd and 3rd avenues. DESCRIPTION:Join Civic Center Conservatory for the sixth-annual Independence Eve event\, a free community celebration featuring a concert\, light show and fireworks display on Friday\, July 3\, 2015\, in Denver’s Civic Center Park (Colfax & Broadway) beginning at 8:00 p.m.  The concert will feature patriotic and contemporary favorites from local funk sensation Funkiphino and the 101st Army Concert Band from Buckley Air Force Base. \nLawn seating will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis; arriving early is greatly encouraged\, as are blankets or low-rise concert/beach chairs. Attendees are welcome to bring their own picnics; concessions will also be available on-site.
