DESCRIPTION:“Over the course of 45 minutes\, chiming and chants bounce off walls and windows transforming the coldest urban area with the warmth of musical fellowship.”\nNPR \n“A marvelously fluid\, traveling spatial sound sculpture that disintegrates and reforms at nearly every stop light.”\nTHE VILLAGE VOICE \nUnsilent Night from New York composer Phil Kline is a mobile sound sculpture experience where the audience becomes the performer\, which is being presented in Denver as well as in 34 other cities around the world this holiday season. The performance takes place as a holiday walk through downtown Denver\, with each person playing one of four ambient tracks downloaded to smartphones\, mp3 players\, or boomboxes. \nThis family-friendly event is free and open to the public\, and requires no previous musical experience to participate. \n​Download the music here: unsilentnight.com/participate.html\nOr get the mobile app here: AppleiOS | Android \nGather on the front steps of Central Presbyterian Church (1660 Sherman St at 17th St) at 6:00 and you’ll be treated to some hot chocolate ​and instructions on the route.
