What started as an annual showcase in New York City has grown into an international brand\, building audiences for world music with stages at SXSW\, Bonnaroo\, and beyond. Founded in 2003\, globalFEST spotlights artists who represent diverse global styles\, bringing down boundaries between countries and creating cultural opportunities for collaboration. More than 120 emerging and established artists have performed at globalFEST\, including such celebrated voices as Mariza\, Lila Downs\, and Angelique Kidjo.
