And yay free admission! \nThe Scientific & Cultural Facilities District is a voter-approved special district in the seven-county metro area that provides a stable source of supplemental funding to more than 300 scientific and cultural organizations inside the district’s boundaries. The SCFD collects a one-tenth of 1 percent sales-and-use tax (or one penny on every $10 spent)\, providing approximately $40 million each year to area cultural attractions both small and large. \nA fee still applies to IMAX films\, Planetarium shows\, and temporary exhibitions. DESCRIPTION:An absurd fairy tale about both the crud on your floor and the crud in your head. \nThe Crud follows the repetitive days of Dear Deer\, Barely Bear\, and Broken Baby Doll Detective as they try to navigate their boredom. Nothing is important and everything is of the utmost importance. They pass their time reciting exactly what is happening\, watching their Great Pile of Crud\, and eating jelly toast. Thanks to the forgettable fellow in the corner\, they also get to ponder whether anything is worth remembering.\n \nThis is the final full-length production of Buntport Theater Company’s 16th Season and was based on the contents of a storage locker that Buntport purchased at an auction. Like on the television show Storage Wars\, Buntport bid on an abandoned locker. That’s right\, just about 30 musicians\ncollaborating to bring you a unique sound and leave you with a smile in your soul.\nThese are musicians that have already contributed successfully to the scene; from Birds Of A Feather\, Bonnie & The Beard\, Petals of Spain\, The People’s Abstract and more. \nNeedless to say\, upon taking stage – this assortment of artistry commands it’s presence. Their act has been compared to reading an old school Parliament comic book. In a nutshell\, this crowd’s get-up is wild\, garish\, & funky with fresh attire that makes you believe they MUST have a costume designer amongst them somewhere. In short\, they are like watching a cartoon come to life. \nThe Other Black clearly simply loves what they do. Their soul-funk- do-wop mix with a modern squeeze endears them.
