SUMMARY:Isaac Asimov's The Last Question
DESCRIPTION:In 1979\, the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (then the Natural History Museum of Denver) produced The Last Question\, a planetarium show based on a short story by acclaimed science fiction writer Isaac Asimov and narrated by the legendary Leonard Nimoy. The story takes place in 2061 and begins with a simple question posed to a computer. Now you can experience the cerebral tale as never before during this totally-out-there event that combines visual elements digitized from the original glass slides\, Nimoy’s voiceover\, and today’s advanced planetarium technology. Swing by the cash bar before the show\, and view items from the Museum archives\, including objects related to Asimov and Nimoy. Ka Chun Yu\, curator of space science\, will lead a Q&A after the program. No late admittance. \n[$12 member\, $15 nonmember] \nMore info: http://www.dmns.org/learn/adults/after-hours/isaac-asimovs-the-last-question-6-pm/

SUMMARY:JANE/EYRE
DESCRIPTION:Songs and stories from Jane Eyre: a queer adaptation of the classic novel. \n\nThis is not for persons who hold solemn doctrines about the angelic nature of literature or theater: but we are not here to flatter egotism\, or prop up humbug; we are merely telling the story. We value what is good in books; but we believe in the existence of other\, and more vivid kinds of goodness. \nIt is narrow-minded to say that we ought to confine ourselves to making puddings and knitting stockings\, to playing on the piano and embroidering bags. \n—Charlotte Brontë\, 1847 (edited) \n\nAdapted for stage by Grapefruit Lab\nWith original live music by Teacup Gorilla & Dameon Merkl \n[$15] \nMore info: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/janeeyre-tickets-42391928399
