No\, Oprah won’t be there but MCA Denver’s new Spring Event Series will give a stage to the art of live comedic storytelling with Shut Up and Listen\, a new event that combines a live podcast taping (because learning is fun) with comedy (because comedy is fun-ny) to create a night that will leave you both smarter\, and in stitches. \nAPRIL 6: \nLive taping of Denver’s local podcast\, Denver Orbit. Denver Orbit is a podcast featuring voices\, stories and music from Colorado’s creative community. \nAfter the taping\, comedians Gabby Gutierrez-Reed and AJ Finney will take the stage and do their thing. \nDenver comedian\, Gabby Gutierrez-Reed has been a standup comedian and improvisor for 2 years. She intertwines her experiences to create a wide range  ofhigh-energy jokes and characters. She has performed at the 8th Annual New York Musical Improv Festival in 2016 and at Comedy Works Downtown Denver in the 2017 and 2018 Funny Final Four Competition. She received her BS in Culinary Nutrition and has yet to use it to this day in any way.
