48 Hours of Socially Engaged Art & Conversation Summit

Art can be a powerful tool of change. Want to explore this idea more? Then don’t miss this event at Redline. This 2-day summit starts off at 7:45a on Wednesday, August 10th with a Breakfast Launch, and continues with programming through Thursday evening that includes a variety of workshops, ten minute talks, performances, and socially engaged art projects– all presented by local artists, nonprofits, activists and community leaders. The event is free and attendees are invited to come for part of the lineup, or stay for all of it. 7:45am-12:00pm Breakfast Launch (breakfast provided): Performances by ILL Se7en and artists from Creative Strategies for Change, presentations by Lisa Gedgaudas from Arts & Venues, Gary Steuer from Bonfils-Stanton and RedLine, a series of ten minutes talks, and a walking tour with Graham Coreil-Allen.
