Have you ever seen a performance at Denver School of the Arts? It will blow you away. Members of the public are invited to buy tickets and come see the performances at the school (some of which are so popular they sell out every year).
WHEN IT AIN’T JUST BLACK AND WHITE is the annual production which honors Black History Month. This piece, written and directed by Senior Theatre student Sequoiah Hippolyte, explores the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. into a contemporary setting. The production follows a young biracial girl’s journey into the traditions and culture of both sides of her family.
