An Afternoon of American Art Song

Enjoy an afternoon of American art song. American art song is a deep-rooted tradition: Classical songs written by American Composers for the voice with piano accompaniment. Opera Colorado’s Young Artists (don’t let the name fool you! These are highly-trained and very talented adult performers who are part of Opera Colorado’s residency program) will delight with a concert filled with contemporary American Art Song. The Scarlet Letter composer Lori Laitman will join to discuss her work and a reception will follow the performance.
