Celebrating 100 Years of Rivers, Ruins, and Mountains with John Fielder

January 25, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

The commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service continues with John Fielder, Colorado’s preeminent nature photographer. With Fielder as your guide, venture through the rivers, ruins, and mountains in our state’s national parks and monuments. By raft you’ll negotiate thousand-foot deep canyons of the Colorado, Yampa, Green, Arkansas, and Gunnison Rivers while on foot you will step inside the cliff dwellings and castles of early Native Americans. Experience the magic of the wilderness and the challenges and techniques of wilderness photography through the lens of a tireless advocate for protecting open spaces. Fielder’s latest books are Wildflowers of Colorado and Colorado’s Yampa River: Free Flowing and Wild.

[$15 – $18]
