The Centennial State in 100 Objects

A marquee exhibition at the History Colorado Center will display 100 artifacts from the History Colorado collection to tell a story that’s often amazing, sometimes sad, but always colorful. Each piece serves as a portal to a meaningful episode in the state’s history and culture. Dr. William Wei, who conceived the idea for the exhibition and is writing the companion book, shares the inside story of the exhibition’s development, previews ten of his favorite items from it, and reveals the fascinating stories behind each of them.
