What? There’s even more kid-friendly programming to be had at the Denver Art Museum? Yes! Create Playdates take place on the second Wednesday of the month from 10a to 1p and offer even more art making fun for kids 3-5 and their grownups. Each month features a different theme, art project, stories and gallery games. These popular drop-in events don’t require any reservations and are included with admission (don’t forget that kids are always free!).
Pro Tip: If you’re used to the kids area of the DAM being a bit more mellow, you’ll want to avoid visiting the DAM on Create Playdate days as they truly take over Duncan Pavilion (where the big foam blocks and costumes are) and draw a lot of infant, toddler and preschool visitors.
