European Book Club – My Berlin Child

A book club with a twist! The European Book Club at the Alliance Française de Denver meets monthly on the last Tuesday of the month to discuss a different Europe-centered book (in ENGLISH). Refreshments are provided, but space is limited so reserving your spot is essential.

About the Book: In this autobiographical story, Wiazemsky writes about her mother as a young woman in war-torn Berlin. In elegant prose, Wiazemsky succeeds in portraying how love and hope can surface amidst the ravages of war and the ruins of an entire civilization.
