Feminism & Co.: Laura Shill: Artist in Conversation

April 7, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Laura Shill: Artist in Conversation

Artist Laura Shill’s exhibition Phantom Touch, currently on view at MCA Denver, includes cyanotypes from her Absent Lovers series in which the artist appropriates images from covers of Harlequin romance novels and then edits out key details from the original, revealing hidden dynamics behind depictions of women. Shill is joined in conversation by Curator Nora Burnett Abrams.

What is Feminism & Co.?
