Listening to a Continent Sing: Birdsong by Bicycle

May 26, 2016 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Birdsong expert Donald Kroodsma shares stories from his incredible 10-week, 10-state bicycle journey with his son, from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Kroodsma’s book Listening to a Continent Sing is a celebration of singing birds and the voices of people along the way. From birds to flowers and trees, rocks and rivers, mountains and prairies, clouds and sky, weather and winds, Kroodsma brings the land to life as he shares this amazing journey with his son. Join us as we take the slow road with him from Virginia to Oregon. A book sale and signing will follow the program. Presented in partnership with the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies.

Tickets: $8 Museum or Bird Conservancy of the Rockies member, $10 nonmember
