Make/Shift Monday: Deep Listening

An interactive workshop with a variety of short activities engaging different styles of “listening”, inspired by the works of John Cage, Pauline Oliveros, and R. Murray Schafer, participants will be led through a series of collaborative and self-guided activities from a book of prompts and questions, which will be available for free to take home. At the end of the event, volunteers will have the opportunity to present their experiences as amateur musicologists and audio ecologists.

Make/Shift Monday is a fun, off-script program created for and by Denver’s unique creative community.  Join us for these regular happenings that activate the space and provide informal opportunities to engage with RedLine.
