About this weekend’s music group from DPL: MSU Denver music professor Peter Schimpf will present a program of music from the early 17th century, a period of transition as the Renaissance style began to give way to the dramatic aesthetic of the early Baroque. He will perform on a 10 course lute and 14 string.
