Soup & Dreams – Warm Cookies of the Revolution

Gather at the McNichols Building to eat delicious soups from a variety of cultures, learn about incredible organizations working to promote culture in our community, and be entertained by some great performances. A suggested donation of $8 will be collected at the door and divided among the 4 participating community organizations. This promises to be a lively, thought-provoking and delicious evening!

Soups include: Menudo from El Taco de Mexico, Vegan Ethiopian Misir Wot from Konjo, Burmese soup from the Chin community, Vegetarian soup from the SAME Cafe, Borscht from David’s Kebab House and Fukuoka-style Ramen from the mind of Andrew Novick.

Organizations include: Produce for Pantries, Project VOYCE, Project Worthmore and Metro Denver Sanctuary Coalition.

Entertainment includes: Youth Mariachi Band El Mariachi Juvenil de Bryant Webster, Afro-Pop Jazz Orchestra The Pink Hawks and Poet Bobby LeFebre.
