Stupid Questions, Stupid Talents: “What is Sanctuary and how does it work?”

May 4, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

“What is Sanctuary and how does it work?”

Does pro wrestling have anything to do with the Sanctuary movement?
There is only one way to find out. Come join Warm Cookies of the Revolution!

More about this event:

In this special edition of “Stupid Questions, Stupid Talents” we’ll be hearing from community members who have been, and currently are, in Sanctuary, learning how we can get involved and what it means for the future of immigrant rights.  Most importantly, we’ll have a REAL LIVE PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING MATCH!

Usually, we ask you to bring your stupid talents, but tonight we’ll be providing the talent and it sure isn’t stupid. Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling will be on hand to bring out your inner Hulk Hogan.

Is this the weirdest match-up we’ve ever had? Possibly.
Will it be the coolest? Most likely.

All money collected at the door will go to the Metro Denver Sanctuary Coalition, to help out 2 women currently in Sanctuary (Jeanette Vizguerra and Ingrid Encalada Latorre) and for any others who might go into Sanctuary in the future.

[$5 – $10 suggested donation (no one is turned away for lack of funds)]
As always we have delicious cookies, Spanish/English interpretation, and childcare (if requested).
