The Why-The-Hell-Are-We-So-Busy Festival

January 31, 2015 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Warm Cookies of the Revolution is the world’s first “civic health club.” What does that mean? Well, it means that through playful and creative events, the folks at Warm Cookies want to help people engage with civic issues that impact our lives, but might initially seem hard to unravel or at the very least not that fun (like taxes, building codes, laws, political processes, etc.). Improve your civic health and have a great time too!

Event Description From Warm Cookies of the Revolution: Between work, school, family, soccer practice, “play-dates” and the internet–there doesn’t seem to be any free time. Today, we’ll let loose with all skill levels yoga with BYSE4, a ridiculous improvised workout with Buntport’s Hannah Duggan, life-sized video games from Oh HeckYeah!, and giant board games from the Denver Public Library. Then, we’ll converse about why life seems so damn busy and what we can do about it as a community. Bring the whole family. More info.
