World Premiere: The Scarlet Letter

The Scarlet Letter, Nathaniel Hawthorne’s great tragic novel is now a new American opera. Be one of the first to see this adaptation by Lori Laitman and experience the incredible talent of the Opera Colorado singers as they present (in English, with subtitles at all seats) the story of Hester Prynne, a young woman in mid-1600s Boston, who is charged with adultery and forced to wear a scarlet letter “A.” Additional showtimes: TUE 5/10, 7:30p; FRI 5/13, 7:30p; and SUN 5/13, 2p.
