Burn Awareness Free Day at Denver Firefighters Museum

February 6, 2016 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

The museum will be open to the public from 10:00am-4:00pm, and activities will be available from 10:00am-2:00pm.  Visitors of all ages are welcome to visit the museum free of charge and experience the historic Old Station Number 1, built in 1909 in the heart of Denver.
Activities will include the Denver Fire Department’s Fire Safety Trailer, visits from active-duty firefighters, and the Teddy Bear Burn Clinic, as well as other interactive features throughout the museum. At the Teddy Bear Burn Clinic, visitors will learn how to safely treat minor burns and will receive a free teddy bear while supplies last. Other important lessons, including burn and fire prevention, will be presented in a fun, family-friendly environment.
