What’s Open on Thanksgiving?

November 19, 2017

Happy Thanksgiving!
Should you find yourself needing to get out of the house and away from the kitchen, here’s a handy list (though not exhaustive) of popular destinations that are OPEN on Thanksgiving and a list of those that are not.

OPEN: Denver Museum of Nature and Science (DMNS is only closed 1 day a year: December 25), Denver Zoo (they’re open every day of the year!) and Southwest Rink at Skyline Park (open 11a – 6p).

CLOSED: All branches of the Denver Public Library (also note that branches close early at 4p on WED 11/22), Denver Art Museum, History Colorado Center, Clyfford Still Museum, Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Denver Botanic Gardens, Four Mile Historic Park, Molly Brown House, Byers-Evans House and The Children’s Museum.

If you don’t see your destination included on this list, be sure to call ahead or check their website before heading out.
