“Where else in the city can you just walk out the door and walk to everything? There’s no where else, really. I walk to the grocery store, to the post office, to the library, to the dentist; there’s everything here. It’s so European.”

James N. Manley Park

February 12, 2013

Take a play break after shopping in Cherry Creek.

We love the tire swing!James N. Manley Park in Cherry Creek North is a small neighborhood park that has enjoyed a revival in popularity due to the fantastic new playground that was installed in the summer of 2012. This park is a great place for a post-shopping romp.

Teach a Child to Read

Yes! You can do this! Help a struggling young student (K-4th) in Denver Public Schools find success in reading through one-on-one tutoring. All it takes is 1 hour per week. But wait, you say, I don’t know anything about teaching a kid to read! No problem. At each tutoring session with Reading Partners, you’ll receive a complete packet with a step-by-step lesson plan and all the materials you’ll need. Truly, if you can read, you can become a reading tutor with Reading Partners. Learn more: readingpartners.org/location/colorado/
