Anthony Garcia Sr. – @birdseedanthony

Anthony grew up in the Globeville neighborhood of Denver near 50th and Broadway. As a teen he did graffiti and feels that hanging out with other graffiti artists all over the city eventually lead to his evolution into an artist who now does studio work and murals. He also credits his experiences with the Art Street program for getting him into public art. Anthony is the founder and director of Birdseed Collective, a nonprofit organization that supports young artists and addresses community needs through its food program.

Growing up in a military family, Thomas moved around a lot, but it was always his art that allowed him to connect to each new community. Eventually landing in Colorado, Thomas graduated from the University of Colorado at Denver with an MBA in marketing, but now works full time as an artist. He has a studio at The Temple at 24th and Larimer.

Weaving a world of surreal dreamscapes and captivating geometry, Gemma conjures a sort of Pythagorean quantum mysticism in her work. She plays with mathematical theory inspired by Torsion Field Physics, Sacred Geometry, and our experience of the many dimensions in Quantum theory.

Lauren’s work aims to create and populate a misfit wonderland in which imaginary heroines can address the absurdities of reality in the confines of a page or a wall. Dreams and mythology add to the myriad of influences that stem from her upbringing in Colorado and her time spent at Stanford, writing for Juxtapoz, working at DreamWorks, and teaching English to high schoolers at San Francisco’s 826 Valencia.

Victoriano grew up in Harlingen, Texas (located at the southern tip of Texas, 30 miles from the Gulf of Mexico), and came to Colorado to attend the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design (RMCAD) where he earned a BFA in Fine Art Painting in 2014.

Mike grew up in Lakewood, Colorado and moved to Denver after high school. From 2003 to 2006, he lived in Hawaii where he made his first art sales along Waikiki. Before creating murals, Mike focused on producing work for gallery shows around Denver.

Pedro was born in Miami, Florida, and raised in Venezuela until the age of seven. When his family relocated to the United States, he spent his adolescence in Florida and eventually made his way to Colorado. Pedro has degrees in both Business Marketing and Nursing. His work is influenced by the diverse cultures of his upbringing and his world travels.
